Vittorio Amandola (November 4, 1952 - July 22, 2010) was an Italian actor, voice actor, dialogue writer and theatre director. He was the husband of the voice actress Sonia Scotti and the stepfather of Rachele Paolelli, who is also a voice actress and playwright Mario Alessandro Paolelli.
He was best known for voicing Waylon Smithers in the Italian version of The Simpsons until his death when he was replaced by Pasquale Anselmo.
He voiced Goofy in the Italian dub from 1989 to 2000 when he was replaced by Roberto Pedicini and he also voiced Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid film series.
In Futurama, he voiced Dr. Zoidberg's uncle Harold Zoid who is a retired silent holographic actor.
He died of a tumour in Rome, Italy on July 22nd 2010 at the age of 57.
