The Vice Presidential Action Rangers was a group of "top nerds" tasked by the U.S. Constitution only with protecting the space-time continuum. They opperate from a specially equiped terrestrial transport module (a school bus).
Known Members circa 1999-2000
- Al Gore: Leader of the VPAR, Vice-President under Bill Clinton, enviornmentalist.
- Stephen Hawking: famed theoretical physicist.
- Nichelle Nichols: aka Commander Uhura.
- Gary Gygax: creater of Dungeons & Dragons.
- Deep Blue: the world's foremost chessplaying computuer (Summer Intern)
Behind the Scenes
- Because the VPAR only appears in a What-If scenario, the group may only exist in a alternate reality.
- Deep Blue is said to be the Summer Intern, but the scene in Anthology of Interest I that deals with the VPAR takes place on New Year's Eve and several days into the year 2000, which is winter.
