Virgon 6 is a greenish colored planet that was mined for its dark matter, and began collapsing as a result.
The Planet Express crew launched a rescue mission to rescue two of every animal. They found Nibbler on-planet and took him aboard their ship, where he quickly devoured the rest of the other animals; Turanga Leela kept him as a pet anyway. Several creatures survived the destruction, living on the debris of the planet. Nibbler was stationed there for approximately one millennium. He was left behind when was using the "bush of many uses" as the rest of the Nibblonians escaped.
