Why does the hypnotoad wear a collar with tags, is it a pet?
Hypnotoad <-> V-Frog ?[]
Does anyone know, is it just coincidenced or intended similarity? In Asimovs books about Lucky Starr, the venus has a species called "V-Frog" - they're able to influence and even control peoples minds too. That would be the second(?) reference(if intended) to an Asimov book I think (Holophoner -> Visi-Sonor)--Cyberman TM 11:02, August 21, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry I goofed up the format a little.[]
But, I couldn't NOT add that glorious video to the article.
If anyone fixes the formatting or instructs me how to correct it then I will be more than happy to oblige.
Edit: I do not take credit for the creation of the video.
It might be worth thinking about getting a screen shot of that video as the primary image of Hypnotoad on the top of the article as I think it looks better. But hey, that's one person's opinion.

Hypotoad sound[]
"The sound he makes is a recording of a turbine engine played backwards."
Is the sound really a turbine played backwards, have you tried reversing the sound? It sounds the same backwards as it does forwards.
