Smizmar

Smizmar (noun) - the one who inspired the initial feeling of love, i.e., the true parent.
Males of the Amphibiosian race, that is, people such as Kif Kroker whose homeworld is Amphibios 9, enter a "receptive state" when they are in love, and their skin becomes receptive to genetic material. If genetic material is introduced, even by so much as the touch of a hand (not necessarily the hand of the smizmar), he may become pregnant. In Kif's culture, the smizmar is "the one who inspired the original feelings of love" as revealed in Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch. However, since all it takes is a touch to transmit the genetic material, Kif's hygiene class taught him, "No Glove, No Love". Smizmar is referenced twice in the earlier episode Raging Bender: once on the theater marquee in the film title, When a Man Loves a Smizmar, and again by the fight announcer addressing "Ladies, Gentlemen, and Smizmars".
