Q.T. McWhiskers was an invention created by Professor Farnsworth. It was intended to be a children's toy, and when it was petted, the toy would meow and shoot rainbows from its eyes. Mom changed the production model into a massive killbot that shot lasers from its eyes, causing Farnsworth to quit.
It is later seen destroying New New York, proving Mom built the robots in spite of Farnsworth.
