Omicron Persei 8 was a planet inhabited by large aliens that frequently attempted to invade Earth. The Omicronians were ruled by Emperor Lrrr and his wife Ndnd. It was a habitable planet orbiting the star Omicron Persei, which is about 1000 light years from Earth; this convenient coincidence allows the Omicronians in the 31st century to view 21st century television broadcasts.

- The planet's design appears to be influenced heavily by Qo'noS, home planet of the Klingons on Star Trek.
- Ndnd once remarked: "Women are from Omicron Persei 7, men are from Omicron Persei 9" as a reference to the book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus", written by John Gray and published in May 1992.
- There are at least three moons around Omicron Persei 8, according to Lrrr in Spanish Fry.
