Bender drinking 3

Hello, Ddear, and welcome to Futurama Wiki!

Thank you for your edits to the Hypnotoad article and taking interest in our wiki. If you have any troubles, feel free to ask questions on my talk page or any other any experienced editors' talk page. Also, you could look at a help page.

Here are a few pages to help out new editors such as yourself:

If you are willing to start editing fully, please help out with the To Do List and do as much as you can on there.

Also, check out the Futurama Wiki Blog for the latest information on the wiki.

Please sign your name on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your name and the date. Signing your comments is important, as it lets other editors know who has posted which comments.

Again, welcome!

Warning Edit

I know that a lot of the edits you have been making are probably meant with good intentions, but many are counter-productive. Firstly it is not acceptable to edit the user pages of other users (Joeyaa, IThinkRobotsAreSexy). I know you undid your edit on Joeyaa, but you should know that if it happens again, we will consider it vandalism and you will be blocked. Secondly, while the content you have added on a few pages is interesting, quotes and other information should not just be added to the top or bottom of the text, but instead placed where it fits. (try hitting the "preview" button before "save page," to see where your edit has appeared). So if you want to add a quote to a page without a "quotes" section, either add a quotes section (add the text: ==Quotes== before the Appearances section).

Finally I would caution you against making edits that don't add very much to the page, such as the additions you made to Igner about being easily disgusted, about Hermes Conrad working at Planet Express for a long time, or the Nation of Joe comment about Joe looking a little like Fry. These might be true, and might be worth saying (although not so much the last one), but it would be helpful if you tried to figure out a way to incorporate that thought into the existing page so that it doesn't sit there awkwardly.

Under some circumstances many of your edits might constitute vandalism, but because you are doing other things as well, I will just give you a warning. But the main reason I've written this, is because every time you make an edit that wasn't well thought out, or just tacked onto the end or beginning of a page when it could have been done better some other way, it means someone like me has to go through every edit to figure out why you did something, and try to fix it. I will often try to take the spirit of a bad edit and try to include it into a page, but others might not be so willing to accommodate you, and will just delete them. So if you want your edits to help, please make sure that they make sense in meaning and placement.
