John DiMaggio is a prolific American voice actor and retired stand-up comedian who plays Bender on Futurama. He also voices Elzar, Flexo, Sal, and various minor characters.

DiMaggio's voice was featured in the video game Gears of War and he has a role in the video game Halo 3 as General Nicholas Strauss. He also voiced the role of Rico the Penguin for the Dreamworks Animated feature film Madagascar - along with its accompanying animated short Penguin Christmas Caper.

More recently DiMaggio provided the voices for Star Wars villain General Grievous and Jedi Master Sha'a Gi in Chapter 20 of the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series.

John DiMaggio is a highly skilled beatboxer; his skills can be heard as the character Noticeably F.A.T[1] DiMaggio can also be heard beatboxing with Coolio as Kwanzabot.[2] He has recorded an a capella version of the Futurama theme for several episodes of the series with Billy West.[3][4][5]

DiMaggio has also performed at the Apollo Theater.
