Janet Vivian "Jan" Hooks (April 23, 1957 - October 9, 2014) was an American actress and comedienne. She was best known for her roles on Saturday Night Live, as well as voicing the wife of Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Manjula Nahasapeemapetilon on The Simpsons.
In Futurama, she provided the voice for Angleyne in the Season 3 episode "Bendless Love".

On October 9, 2014, Hooks, 57, died from non-chemo responsive throat cancer.
