Horrible Gelatinous Blob is a good-natured person, unless he is upset about something such as problems at work or a sad movie. Then he becomes prone to violence at the slightest provocation. This usually ends with him swallowing the offending party. He worked at a plant which introduced computers in 3002, a few months later he was seen working as a stockbroker.
He seems to have worked as an actor in commercials as he appeared in a commercial for Planet Express.[1] However, it is unlikely that he met anyone at Planet Express directly, as he doesn't seem to recognize Hermes Conrad or Professor Farnsworth before, during, or after beating them to a pulp. He is also the face of the $20 bill.[2]
