Philip J. Fry I is a pizza delivery boy from the 20^th century. He was cryogenically frozen in a cryogenic tube, originally by Nibbler, but later by himself, for 1000 years. He awoke on the 31^st of December 2999.

In the 3st century, Fry became part of Planet Express along with the robot Bender who was his best friend and mutant Leela. His nephew, Hubert Farnsworth is the owner. Fry currently lives in the flat-sized closet of Bender's closet-sized flat.

New Futurama Episodes Announced

Comedy Central has officially announced that a batch of new Futurama episodes will be created for a 2010 series. This puts to bed all the rumor and speculation surrounding the future of the series that has been doing its rounds on the Internet since the completion and transmission of 'Into the Wild Green Yonder' which was the last of Four feature-length episodes. The season is expected to contain 26 half-hour episodes and is scheduled to hit screens in 2010
