Egypt is a country on Earth. The planet O'Cyris IV is based on the Ancient Egyptian empire as the Osirins visited Egypt many years ago. The Osirins took many of the Ancient Egyptian's ways including building pyramids out of stone, having pharaohs and mummifying people before burying them.
Egypt also took part in the count down to New Year's Eve 1999.
