The Dark Matter Engine was a type of engine invented by Professor Farnsworth. The engine allowed space ships to travel through a galaxy in only a few hours.

- This dark matter engine doesn't move the ship forward, it moves the universe around it, as stated in A Clone of My Own. This is similar to Star Trek's warp drive.
