Episodes

This category is for the episodes of Futurama series.  The first episodes were mainly with Fry getting used to future life.  Hermes, Amy and Zoidberg did not appear until episode 2 , The Series Has Landed.  Matt Groening first got inspired to write the Futurama seiries after several years of science reaserch with one of his work partners.  Groening had previously done the Simpsons and Life in Hell, which were incredibly sucessful. 

TYPE OF SHOW

Futurama is animated series created by Matt Groening, also creator of the wildly popular, and regarded as one of the best TV shows of all time, "The Simpsons", and is a workplace comedy, and displays elements of Jewish-American Humor.

Philip J Fry (Billy West):

A man from 20th century who got frozen in the cryogenics lab new years eve of 1999. He is the dim-witted planet express delivery boy.

Turanga Leela (Katey Sagal):

The one-eyed mutant who is captain of the planet express ship. Leela is one of the smartest of all the characters on Futurama. Leela also loves animals and adopted a pet sort of koala like alien who she called Nibbler.

Amy Wong: 

The assistnt of Professor Farnsworth who is from Mars but of Chinese decsent. Amy is sexy, fashionable and loves Kif Kroker of Amphibios nine. Amy's parents Leo and Inez Wong constantly bug her about having children.

Hubert J Fransworth:

Hubert J Farnsworth or better known as Professor Farnswoth is the founder and CEO of Planet Express

SEASON 1

SPACE PILOT 3000

Space Pilot 3000 is the first episode of the Futurama seiries in which Fry arrives in the 13st century after delivering pizza to the crygenics lab under the corny and fake name I C Weiner.  As Fry begins to eat the pizza and leans back in his chair at midnight on new years eve he accidentally falls into one of the tubes ans gets frozen. He wakes up 1000 years later on new years eve 2999 in the cryogenics lab.  Leela who was a cryogenics counselor at the time helped Fry out
