- Considering Freedom Day is an annual holiday, it is odd that Philip J. Fry would be surprised when it occurs, as he has been living in the future for a number of years at this point. But it is possible that the crew was on a mission during all previous Freedom Day celebrations seeing as how some missions last days at a time.
- A line states that a "standard noose knot has exactly seven twists;" this is incorrect, as the actual number is typically thirteen.
